Boomerang Support Services' Incident Management System:

• Compliance: Adheres to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (Incident Management and Reportable Incidents) Rules 2018.
• Documentation: Incident Management System is documented in the Incident Management and Reporting Policy.
• Reporting: Clients and workers must report incidents that cause or could cause harm.
• Protection: No negative consequences for reporting incidents.
• Types of Incidents:
  •  Acts, omissions, events, or circumstances related to service provision that cause or could cause harm.
  • Acts by a person with a disability that cause or could cause serious harm to another person.

• Management: Consistent procedures to assess, investigate, and resolve incidents.
• Support: Procedures to support clients affected by incidents.
• Reporting to Authorities: Strict procedures for reporting incidents to the NDIS Commission and other relevant bodies.
