Boomerang Support Services will:
Act with respect for individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination, and decision-making in accordance with applicable laws and conventions.
Respect client privacy.
Provide services in a safe and competent manner with care and skill.
Act with integrity, honesty, and transparency.
Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may impact the quality and safety of services.
Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation, neglect, and abuse of people with disabilities.
Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct.
Arrive at the service location on time and ready to deliver services.
Provide services consistently with all applicable laws, including the NDIS Act, NDIS Rules, National Privacy Principles, and Australian Consumer Law.
Treat clients with dignity and respect, valuing their legal and human rights, including their right to make informed choices.
Notify clients about changes to appointment times and other service delivery changes.
With client assistance, provide a safe and comfortable space for service delivery.
Treat client information as private and confidential.
Provide timely invoices and statements for services.
Communicate openly, honestly, and promptly with clients.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all services provided.
Contact the NDIA about client plans when necessary.
Clients and their representatives agree to:
Inform Boomerang Support Services of any concerns regarding the services provided.
Actively participate in designing the support plan and setting and monitoring goals.
Ensure service fees are met within the funding available in their approved plan.
Pay all invoices promptly and in full.
Immediately notify Boomerang Support Services if they stop being a participant in the NDIS.
Keep Boomerang Support Services informed of any changes in circumstances that affect service delivery or the agreement.
Be present at the designated service location at the agreed appointment time.
Treat all Boomerang Support Services staff and others present during service delivery with respect and abide by Boomerang Support Services' policies.
Inform Boomerang Support Services of any changes to their plan or participation in the NDIS.
Provide Boomerang Support Services with a copy of any updated or revised plan as soon as possible.
Consent to receiving documents and updates electronically unless otherwise specified.
These details ensure a mutual understanding and agreement between Boomerang Support Services and its clients regarding their rights and responsibilities.
